I've heard of LIKE MANDARIN and THE NEAR WITCH. I don't know about the rest of them, though! I'll have to take a look. Are any of them dystopians?
ReplyDeleteI think a couple of them are. like Divergent and Possession, but I don't remember for sure about the others. I've read a ton of book descriptions today lol.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! So many books I can't wait to get my hands on. (Move Across the Universe up to January 11th, though!)
ReplyDeleteDIVERGENT, that Amanda mentioned, is dystopian YA novel coming out in May. It's a good one for Hunger Games fans, although it still feels like something we haven't seen before. You can find out more about it on Veronica Roth's blog: http://veronicarothbooks.blogspot.com/2010/10/divergent-video.html
Gretchen McNeil's BANISH is about demonic possession and will be out late in the year.
I'm also looking forward to Gayle Forman's WHERE SHE WENT.
Because I read you like dystopians, I'm gonna list the dystopians on my list for next year. *gg*
