  2. I've heard of LIKE MANDARIN and THE NEAR WITCH. I don't know about the rest of them, though! I'll have to take a look. Are any of them dystopians?

  3. I think a couple of them are. like Divergent and Possession, but I don't remember for sure about the others. I've read a ton of book descriptions today lol.

  4. Great list! So many books I can't wait to get my hands on. (Move Across the Universe up to January 11th, though!)

DIVERGENT, that Amanda mentioned, is dystopian YA novel coming out in May. It's a good one for Hunger Games fans, although it still feels like something we haven't seen before. You can find out more about it on Veronica Roth's blog: http://veronicarothbooks.blogspot.com/2010/10/divergent-video.html

Gretchen McNeil's BANISH is about demonic possession and will be out late in the year.

I'm also looking forward to Gayle Forman's WHERE SHE WENT.

  8. Thanks so much for including Ashes, Ashes on your list!
For all you dystopian fans, it is a post-apocalyptic adventure story.
